Two different situations.

Tubbs brought in a spread guy to completely redo the offense, yet retained all his pals, who weren't spread guys, who gave little effort in teaching their position players the new offense.

Not at all. His name is in the mix at Fresno St, where he came from to Bama, and Colorado St also.
