and they all expect a championship, and only 1 team can win the SEC at a time, how the hell does that work out? the salaries are ridiculous.

unless you are hiring nick or urban, why would you pay someone that much money? get an up and comer for 3 million with bonus clauses.

how many teams will end up paying championship salaries for the next 20 years with no championships to show for it?

I think the problem is now even the up and coming coaches like Frost and Taggert will want more then 4 million. Seem like there is a lot of someone proven guys being rumored that they could end up being better hire then thd up and coming coach because they could all want the same money. I would think 2 of Petrino, Kelly and Kiffin get new power 5 jobs.

If everyone hired a Saban level coach, how would we know it?

It's like buying the most expensive car on the lot, financing it for 8 years and trading it in after 3 years. Upside-down like a motherfricker.

When everyone is playing for second with Saban running the Tide, it's not going to end well with these ridiculous salaries and the huge buyouts that come with it.

Bama is willing to pay Saban whatever we wants, it's probably what has kept him from that one more NFL shot.
