Les Miles Ed Orgeron ...already have.

Les just sustained what Nick built and then crashed it with his stubbornness. O caught lightning in a bottle the one year. I want LSU to be in conversation every year for titles, not necessarily a title every year.

Kiffin, like it or not, is the best available coach out there. Yes he has his drawbacks but so does every coach you mentioned, including Drink, who has same hang ups about not winning big games. Dillingham I like 2nd best but even him, not much as a HC to go on so far. Franklin is the worst version of Drink and Kiffin, losing every big game at Penn St. Any coach we get will come with risks, Kiffin just has the offensive pedigree and most experience among the available coaches so likely highest floor.

Clark Lea has a better resume than Drink.

If a 12-team playoff had been in place, Kiffin would have made the CFP in 2021 and 2023.
