You are UL fricking M. Your shitty university could not even spell the word bowl game before this season. You are at a shite college which is eventually gonna get shut down. You are in an extremely unstable conference that's about to fall apart. BUT OH you have the fricking Independence Bowl. Bravo sir, Bravo.

Could do a lot worse than Skip. Give him a chance.

Skip is one of the most experienced hires that we've had. Our last 4 coaches had No HC experience before coming to Tech. While it doesn't promise success, I think we'll be fine.

Looks like Skip is trying to get Karrs head coach, I won't butcher his name, to come on as recruiting coordinator. Sounds like a good hire to me, if it happens.

LA Tech: We have learned that Skip Holtz has hired Tim Rattay. Position to be determined. Rattay, who set multiple records as a quarterback at Tech, went on to spend a number of years with the 49ers and other NFL teams. Fans in Ruston will love this hire! Update> Skip Holtz has now confirmed the hire via Twitter.

I think this may wind up being a shrewd move by both CSH and La. Tech. Holtz's AD at USF didn't take into account how many injuries the Bulls had this year.

It sounds like the South Florida AD didn't want to fire Holtz, but the boosters wanted him gone regardless of how well he turned around their academics

MT @coachingsearch: Sources tell me that South Florida grad assistant Joe Sloan has accepted the inside receivers job at LA Tech.

Also, rumors about that Frank Scelfo is going to get the OC job. Thoughts?
