Keith Zinger single-handedly lost us the game against Kentucky in 2007.

Something everyone on this board has been BEGGING for for the last 5 years. Remember, it's not how Les won the game, but it was how it LOOKED!

wait, les didnt beat up on bad teams while here?

Isn't that what BAMA does to one dimensional teams? Did you REALLY have faith in Etling going into that game? You REALLY think he was good enough to beat that team?

so you are conceding that getting shutout by bama is ok.

that game was not about etling and his ability. its not n his shoulders. come on

We've discussed this. Guice blew this. Not Orgeron

14 point dogs arent supposed to have the home team by the balls at all.

the mismanagement of the game, from all angles, falls on the coaches

Who else from the Miles era can we single-handedly blame for losses?

We might as well put the entire 2012 NC game on JJ.

We'll put the Wisconsin game on Harris. The Auburn game on Fournette.

I think we all know who lost the Wisconsin and Auburn games.

Clearly a coach should never be fired because it always comes down to the players messing up. Not once is it ever the coaches fault.

We were gonna win the Wisky game but Harris there the pick. We were gonna win against Auburn but we didn't snap the ball in time.

We were gonna beat Bama but the players didn't score on the plays they were supposed to score on.

Should have beat Florida but Guice and Jackson, and delahoussaye, and a bad snap on field goal.

Why doesn't Miles get the same benefit as O? They both had players make mistakes to lose the game and both had putrid offenses and both had a chance to win the game at the end

Oh wait. What is the line you use to determine at which point fault goes to the coach and fault goes to the player?

Why are these games any different than the Florida game?

Maybe the playoff committee will take into consideration the fact that we are undefeated in games where players haven't blown the game. Our head coaches are undefeated. It's our players who lose.

Like Lamar Jackson and one of the coaches this board clamored for half the time in Petrino?

What happened with that today?

What's Petrino's record as a head coach? I don't like him, but c'mon. There were people on this board comparing Coach Binder to Belichick and Carroll before Bama.

I hope he defies the odds. Whatever.

I think Alleva's history/reputation at Duke might be making it even harder for LSU to attract people might otherwise coach here.

Xavier Carter is definitely to blame for the loss at Georgia in 2004.

It's sort of the same logic Miles used when he said we were undefeated in regulation in 2007.

Andrew Hatch was solely responsible for the defeat to Florida in 2008.

We should have a running list of games we lost but we actually won because it wasn't the coaches fault the player messed up.

We'd have a trophy case full of titles.

Is it okay if we blame individual players on the opposite team too?

Reggie Nelson is responsible for the loss against Florida in 2006.

Rashad Johnson is responsible for the loss against Alabama in 2008.

If ND can vacate wins, can we re-Cate wins? So we basically have never lost the past 12 years. The players just blew it but we've never really lost a game

0 points is wildly different than beating. 0 points is embarrassing. Yes, I really thought that LSU was talented enough to put at least 1 score on the board. Is that really that drastic of an expectation? Is LSU's offense really that less talented than USC, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Chattanooga, and Auburn? Should we have the same expectations for LSU's offense as Kent State?

I know. Usually it is blamed on Miles not running Charles Scott in the second half, but Prom has shown me the light. Players lose games, coaches win them.

Marlon Favorite is responsible for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones buttfricking us in 2007.

Seems reasonable.

After we make all these corrections we will be the winningest program in NCAA history. Maybe now we can sway Herman or Fisher or even JT Curtis.
