If his agent didn't get hm MASSIVE money after this then he should be fired immediately.

He has a lot to learn as a HC but he's still a top 5-10 HC.
How do you figure? His record against similarly talented teams is very poor and he just dropped yet another one against a team far less talented than his. OSU has a 4 year recruiting avg outside the top 25. They don’t have near the horses you do and beat…AGAIN
He’s done absolutely nothing to prove that

Name 10 better coaches. You can try but I really doubt you can and it be legit.
Name a coach under 40 years old that has won 85% of his games. 55-10, 37-7 in conference. 15-6 vs top 25 teams. 6 straight conference titles. It had to end sometime and this year's team took a dip.
Name an offensive coach who has 2 Heismans on his record. Two #1 drafted QBs. He got Hurts into the second round.
Tonight's loss sucked. No doubt. Oklahoma State isn't as talented as OU, I agree, but their defense is experienced (all 4-6 year players) and pretty damn good. Lincoln should have won that game. He didn't coach his best but it wasn't all on him.

So what all did he get?

If he really turned down the LSU job to stay at Oklahoma then he made a really bad business and career decision. LSU would paid 100M for 8 or 10 years plus gave him another 2M/year to go get the best DC. Had no in state rivals with some of the best high school talent in the country.
Bottom line is he could have came coach in the SEC West against the best coaches and players in college football. Looks like he’s content doing what he’s doing at Oklahoma and that’s fine but one day AD’s for jobs like LSU might stop calling. If Oklahoma comes to the SEC then that day for him will come a whole lot sooner .
