Seems like we can figure out who next coach will be

If Herman is not announced as Head coach by tomorrow then it's not him.
Coach O will be named HC on Tomorrow if Jimbo really isn't in play. If coach O isn't named HC tomorrow then Jimbo is still interested.
If Jimbo is in play we will have to wait until Tuesday.
Pretty simple.

You can always name O the coach. You have to take this into next week to see what happens. No rush to name a coach this weekend if it's not Herman/Fisher as of the weekend. Keep trying next week.

If Herman goes to Texas, Alleva needs to hit the reset button on the entire thing. There is no rush and Alleva seems to be putting imaginary timelines on things.

OP is correct.
No way Alleva waits on the announcement if his only option is CEO.
If FSU announces an extension or renegotiate with Jimbo..
If Texas announces with Herman...
LSU is left holding their dicks and has to announce CEO last and that would be a REALLY bad look for Alleva. He would look really inept.
If things have or do break down with Jimbo and Herman and CEO is the #3 choice he will announce ASAP to make it look like CEO was his guy all along.
The reason we know CEO IS the #3 is this media push for him and the stupid polls. They are testing the fanbase waters for a CEO hire. See if people would be happy with the hire. Tiger Stadium would be full of 13 year olds and women.
