It says he wants to minimize distractions. If he said he wanted the job his team might mutiny. If he says he wants to be at Houston forever it makes him look bad when he decides to leave. Not commenting is the only thing he can do.

I think he is definitely leaving UH after this season. Lsu has said they are willing to spend whatever it takes. I would say they have as good of a chance as anybody at getting him If he is the guy they go after.
