Now every one on here is saying that he doesn't blitz much, DB's far off the ball. I think I'm gonna jump off the VK band wagon, and on the Tenuta.

Yeah, he runs a "bend but don't break" defense... doesn't blitz much... lots of safety help for corners that play well off receivers... Pretty much the opposite of what LSU fans have grown accustomed to and love to see.

But, we'll see what happens.

It is a bit more complex than "bend don't break."

He considers a blitz 5 players. He doesn't sell out completely with a blitz more than 5 unless he has too.

He believes in giving a cushion to the receiver. However, he does that to set-up INTs. He wants the CB/safety to break on the ball and get the INT or a break-up. It is a cushion with a purpose.

He teaches his DBs to intercept and create turnovers. I, for one, support that more than we have today.

Another source says deal is done for VK to go to K-State...co-DC situation.

Didn't think VK was that type of coach to co-coordinate.

It wouldn't be co-coordination...he would function as the DC.

I'm saying I'd rather have Tenuta ANY day of the week

If Tenuta is so great why he demoted from DC to LB coach? Went from GT to ND?

Going backwards in his career?

He's also assistant head coach there.
