LSU coach Les Miles announces his resignation to become head coach at the university of Michigan.

At the same press conference, LSU AD Skip Bertman announces the new LSU headcoach that will bring: Discipline, big name recruiting recognition and aggresive blitzing defenses: BILL COWER.

ps: all this after LSU wins the SEC Championship.

You know, Cowher is a commentator now, and Skip and/or the board members doing the search can call him right now, give him a $500k consulting fee to assist in the search, then offer him the job at the SEC-CG and have him coach the freakin' bowl game. Crazier things have happened. He's 50 and if he loves Baton Rouge could stay 15 years.

I've been saying this for 2 months now. Get the jump on everyone. Just make the argument to him why fudge around with those nfl primadonnas. His decision is the money one. He can name his price in the NFL.

Does he have any college coaching experience at all? Any knowledge of recruiting.

Answer= None at all and it doesn't matter. Winners win. It's infectious. You don't think that Cowher won't bring some intensity and credibility that will instantly make him a recruiting superstar? Particularly ferocious defense where LSU has always made it's mark?
