A year ago I didn't think anyone would top Saban's deal, but Petrino did it.
Give Saban a small amount of credit for actually discussing his desire to leave with Huizenga and waiting until the end of the season. Yeah, he lied to the press, but not to his owner and didn't leave, literally, in the middle of the night and before the end of the season.

Imagine the field day if Les had gone to Michigan and Saban bolted back to LSU. Petrino bolting to Arkansas.
I believe if the above had actually happened, and many sources say it was closer to reality than you might believe, coaching integrity in college would have been irreparably damaged.
