Those aren't my comments. I simply copied and pasted a frequent Texas poster's post on that site.

Like it or not, it's the truth. Yes we're arrogant, yes we've earned the right to be. We're arguably the best program in the history of the game,

Yet, in the last 25 years or so, you've lost coaches to Kentucky, Texas A&M and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You're right. Saban would neeeevvvvvvveeeerrrr leave.

I don't know if Penn State can handle Nick's dominating controlling style after what all has happened. I get the impression that the university wants a coach who answers to them. I don't see this being a good fit.

Agree completely. It won't happen for various reasons, but that is certainly one, and enough by itself to keep it from happening.

But I could easily envision his leaving Alabama for another job at some point.

And how did that turn out for them?
Fran's the only one who left for another job. Perkins and Curry were hated and forced out.

Relative to the Alabama program and the SEC, no four year period has seen more wins than Alabama's current 47 wins. That's "making history" in my opinion.

I can see LSU coming close to that after next year:

9-4
11-2
14-0
14-0

48-6

It is very possible with the team that LSU is returning next year. They should be favored in every game. Unlikely, sure, but possible.

Then, if you roll that 9-4 off with an 11-2 or so record in 2013, you will definitely see LSU break it.

I don't have a crystal ball, but LSU is in the same kind of run.
