They're running with what the admin told them yesterday. They have not got the updated information on Riley because admin is scrambling to plan B. They're going to fall on the sword until told otherwise. LSU messed this up big time by telling recruits he was the guy.
He's not coming. If you think he is you're in complete denial. He fricked LSU. This happens when you like to toss big money at your problems you get used as leverage which happens regularly to LSU. Move on.

This is constantly said on here and it's ignorant. It's not a comparable situation. Listen to Riley's emotional rant about his team and outright denying LSU directly. He will damage his reputation if he took the LSU job now with the way he went about denying it. You guys will reach for anything. OU would want his blood and you'd need to seriously question his character/loyalty moving forward. It's not really the same type of situation for how Saban denied his jump.
Riley was biting on what LSU offered, they baited him attempting to move on, he expressed interest then agreed under the table, used them to the last minute as leverage to get the most out of OU and ultimately stayed with them. I would be more pissed at how gullible this administration is and never seem to learn from past mistakes.
