Nope. It would pretty much be like O burning up all of his goodwill from 2019 in half a season of shite, but condensed into 5 seconds after the hire is announced.
He either needs to money-whip someone into saying yes or go outside the box to get someone with a higher ceiling than those two if we get to that point.

If it’s Aranda, he will wait until after the Big 12 Championship game at the earliest. Doubt he makes it to the CFP as that’s a bit of a long shot

I'd imagine the local endorsement deals in L.A. pay quite a bit more than Big Red Motors in Norman, Oklahoma. It's a private school so we may never know his full salary there, but I'd bet the endorsements add a pretty nice padding to the fat salary too.
