Riley smokescreen

A couple of things seem obvious....LR never had the chest for the SEC and 2 this deal with USCw didn't happen overnight....had to be negotiated a while ago.
Therefore all the Riley in the bag stuff was always nonsense....Woody should have been able to tell LR wasn't a serious candidate. LR to USCw doesn't put LSU in scramble mode. Woody duck hunting and chilling on the sideline means he feels confident his preferred candidate is on track.
If the hire winds up being Mark Stoops then all of this is shot out the window.
Counter argument....all the recruits thinking it was Riley and the BOS meeting are not good signs.
Guess we will all know for sure soon
