I think we need to make Rich our #1 priority if Miles leaves. People don't want Saban back, and most believe Spurrier would never come here, plus he is gettig older. These are really the only two coaches that I would consider other than Rodriguez, and it looks like they won't be in the mix.
Rodriguez has a lot of head coaching experience, great record, can recruit his butt off, & may just end up wining the NC!
He's young, and I'm sure if we'd put enough $$ on the table, he would consider. LSU has the money! We all know that. We don't need to be pinching pennies, or we'll end up like 15 years ago!!

rich rodriguez=les miles, but more expensive

if people were not happy with what miles has done at LSU, how can they be impressed with what rodriguez has done at WVU

miles in 3 years at LSU=
2 blowout bowl victories
1 bcs game on the verge of another

rodriguez in 7 years at wvu=
2 bowl vitcories..both by 3 points
1 bcs game and on the verge of another

rodriguex inhertited a team MUCH worse than what miles did, BUT miles plays in a MUCH tougher conference making those accomplishments more impressive

Alabama was unsuccessful and Rich made it chrystal clear he loves West Virginia as do his family and wife. It would take over 3 million to even tempt him IMO.

I'd love to see him here, but I'm not getting my hopes up. WV is home, and his buyout is expensive.

You very well could be right, considering he is from there. But can you imagine what damage he could do with all of the talent we have in the SEC?

Why would RR leave WV? He's already at his dream job and this yr has proven that he can have the opportunity to win a NC there, so why would he leave?

Looks like he's already doing pretty good with the talent up in West Virginia.

everything the fans bitch about les miles....he has done the same (results wise)

he has lost to teams with inferior talent year in year out

at least miles DESTROYS his post season opponants, and has done so in shorter time

what kind of hardware would miles have at LSU in 7 years compared to the 1st 7 years rodriguez has had at WVU

not saying Rodriguez is not a good coach, BUT he has done everything at WVU that LSU fans bitch abuot miles doing at LSU
