I always love this type of seemingly connect but actually not even remotely the same type of scenarios

Anyhoo while I cannot speak for all those skeptical of “Grumors” Harabaugh was an NFL HC rumored to go to his actual alma mater less than 5 years removed from being a college head coach that was also rumored to be having issues with the management of the NFL team he was coaching. Not a TV color man for a decade with zero college coach experience rumored to a school his wife went to.

And Harbaugh and Michigan still suck. Gruden has been out of coaching so long. I am going to enjoy watching Chuckie get run out of BDS next year.

UT fans have gone thru this before so hart could get rid of Dooley. One thing is for sure this time around is that Currie/boosters are actually making an attempt at him not like hart that just road the grumers to then end up with jones.

So a legit shot being taken, and UT fans all know it's a tough mountain to climb with what he has now. Also, shows that UTAD/boosters are being serious about getting UT back to where we were in the past.

Also, it's not about him not wanting to coach at UT as if he did get into cfb it would be at UT. All fans a reasonably accepting that his espn gig is just to sweet to give up. Ha.

It was fun for a few days, but people started actually believing this shite to the point where they're taking secret pics at Calhoun's of the back of a guys head because he kinda looks like Gruden.

It's gone too far, and Gruden didn't help at all with perpetuating this shite.

Here’s the shitty part for TN fans: the Gruden rumors are fueled by folks that assume he’s coming to UT because he’s A). Building a house in Knoxvegas B). Been seen multiple times around the Knoxville area...gee his kid goes to UT and see A C). He has an attachment to UT because years ago he was a graduate assistant and D). Everyone has been creaming their pants over Gruden since the time of the Phat Phil hiring, I know because I was in residency at UTMC during that time. All I will say is, yes, UT may finally land Gruden, but not before he turns down other offers. Hell, even TB is on his radar!
