if the Eagles somehow land Lincoln, then Grinch shoots to the top of the list for me

yada yada yada peach bowl ... the guy has turned around the Oklahoma defense in two years to be a really good unit.

At this point I would put Nielsen first and Arnett second.

The Neilson obsession is mind boggling. Not saying he'd be bad, but there is absolutely no indication that he would be better than half of the other candidates. Must be a Saints fan thing.

Leonhard would be a great hire, but so many think he’s not a candidate for a variety of reasons. But I’d love to see him in the mix

One of the few times it’d pay for you to follow the Saints.

As a fan, he’s one of the first position coaches I was blown away with after just one year and has maintained my awe.

Dude got Cam Jordan his first All Pro selection and got career years out of Okafor and Rankings. He later got Cam two more All Pro selections, along with his 4th consecutive Pro Bowl nod. He’s gotten career years out of Jordan, Okafor, Rankings, Onyemata, Davenport, Granderson and currently has Hendrickson among the leaders in sacks.

Nielsen has unreal DL developmental skills 4 years running and if you go back to college, he put all 4 DL in his final year at NCst into the first 3 rounds of the Draft, with one of them (Chubb) going in the top 5. None of this is coincidence. He is a DL whisperer.

Not anymore mind boggling than the Schumann obsession. Dude fetches Kirby’s water when he’s thirsty

Ok so he’s a good DL coach. Who’s says he can scheme a defense though? Why aren’t we going after a proven playcaller rather than just hoping he can translate to the DC level?
