he was the hot coach last year and the year before. Not any more? Why? Guy has done a great job under terrible circumstances.

Charlie Strong will be the Louisville coach.
Edsall is a really good coach. Deserves a better shot.
They had an interview with him on gameday this morning talking about having his name thrown around in coaching openings.

Yeah, he's a great guy and really a great coach. He'll not have enough talent year in and year out at UCONN to build them into a consistent winner, but I think he'd do well at a bigger school, maybe even LSU.

I like Edsall, I'd like to see what he could do with a somewhat better program, not necessarily a big boy, but somewhere with better resources/ history than UConn.
There's talk of him going to Kansas, but that seems to be a similar situation to where he is. Maybe UVa should take a look.

I suggested him on TD after Saban left and was laughed out but I still think he is a good coach that would do well at a major school and conference

I like Edsall alot. Nothing flashy, just a very fundamentally solid coach.
