90% likely. Wildcard is Sexton and his negotiations with LSU.

Here's the truth: If Strong gets fired, Herman is going to Texas. The LSU job is Jimbo's if he wants it. If not, O will get an interview along with a short list of others tbd.
If Strong somehow retains his job at Texas, the conversation at LSU will be much different. So, if you want Herman, better start yelling Hook'em Horns over the next few weeks.

That's the part I don't like. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get Strong's seat warm again, which means if Herman does come here, Texas will always be in the background.

That's a risk you always take with a coach from somewhere else. You want a guarantee your hire will stay here no matter what offers he gets, then you may want to back O.

Thanks for the info. I think Jimbo would stay here until he retires. So if Herman is available you are saying it may not be Jimbo's if he wants it anymore?

I'm 75% confident jimbo gets the job regardless of Herman to Texas or not. If jimbo passes and strong stays at UT I wouldn't be surprised if Herman ends up here but I wouldnt bet against USC or Oregon for Herman either. So I doubt Herman ends up at Lsu. I also have a feeling Herman will go after Aranda if he lands at UT, USC, Oregon or any power 5 program. Hope I'm wrong on that. I'm not sure the dynamic with Herman and his DC now. So I think it's jimbo and then Herman, Fedora as top 3

I agree some do. And I'm not calling out anybody, but dang, 2 or 3 new insiders I hadn't heard of just appeared in this thread calling on THE insider.

I actually have seen those other 2 or 3 people post recently and they have all had about the same info. It being Jimbo's job, they have a handshake agreement, etc. I think a few of them do know and I expect more and more people will come out and there will be more smoke as we get closer. I hope so at least
