Sources legit and not so legit saying that this is all but a done deal. 6 years, $21 mil and Pitt likely has to go hire Dave Wannested again.

Except my Purdue sources say convos have taken place and Narruzzi is more than all in.
I agree that most of it is razzing, but there's legitimate smoke here. I asked my source about Bruce Feldman's tweet today and what it meant and was met with a
"Offer went out today. P5 coach. $3mil+. Highly interested"
May or may not get done but there's some legitimacy here

Because Purdue is a sleeping giant with great facilities, a fertile recruiting base, good support, and a good school.

TV $$$$$. $3.5 mil is a lot more than $2mil. $21 million guaranteed. He can fall flat on his face and be set for generations.
BigTen schools stand to make $45-$50mil in shared revenue this year. The ACC is nowhere close to that. BigTen has a strong basketball and football demand to market where the ACC only has basketball and the SEC only really has football (nothing to scoff at....football alone keeps it equal to the BigTen).
You'll see this more and more. BigTen teams with money to spend that are tired of losing will dump money into facilities and coaches that other schools in the ACC, Big12 and Pac12 just don't have.

These aren't all necessarily true.
Good School - Yes. I am a UGA alum though.
Great Facilities - Opening a $60Mil player facility next year that fixes some of the gaps that we had with some conference rivals. Have had an indoor facility since 1990. I think our biggest deficiency here is our stadium. It's not great, but has potential if we start winning. Vs. Pitt.....it's on campus and we still get 35K to show up even though we suck...
Fertile Recruiting Ground- Not so true. Chicago would be big to get back into. Part of our backslide has been a lack of emphasis on local recruits. IU (who historically is an abysmal FB program) is kicking our arse in state because of their high flying offense and ND is taking a lot of the good D recruits. Indiana was a poor at best high school football state 10 years ago. Now, it's VERY worth trying to nab 4 or 5 of the top 10 guys in state. It's a realistic goal that helps us get back to respectable. Pretty much all of our good NFL talent over the past 15 years has come from in state.

So where are you debating me ? What did I say that's false ?? There are recruits to be had, but you guys haven't gotten them.
I respect your program and university. I was stating that I'm well aware that good football isn't exclusive to the southeast contrary to popular belief on this board. Purdue has potential. Many on here will laugh, but they do.
