Program Being Looked at as a Joke by other Institutions

Do you believe that the reason for the crystal clear incompetence is due to...
A) The administration doesn't care and is giving O enough rope to hang himself. O truly believes that he has the offensive formula and now he has the coach to listen.
B) The administration sees something in Ensminger that has not existed in his previous jobs and nobody else in the country can see it.
C) The administration wants an under the radar/ unpopular hire to work, in an effort to make their judgement look better. In a business sense, it is better to find a successful formula for a cheaper price.
D) No respectable offensive coordinator wants to have a negative mark against them by running an offense that is destined to be shite. The head coach has proven that he is a dabbling idiot and the administration backed him.

Title is a fact. I am just gauging opinions related to the cause. I also can't support that blue is actually blue, but it is.

You logic and your lack of insight makes your post irrelelevant. The hiring of assistants and the coaching shuffle happens every year with almost all teams. There is nothing embarrassing. Canada has been off the books for a few days. Be patient.

How is the title a fact? You’ve been in touch with programs around the country? Because you say something is a fact doesn’t make it a fact.

I thought that some may answer why the hell they believed that Ensminger would be the Offensive Coordinator. Most posts are irrelevant on this board, so answer or go be relevant elsewhere. It would be totally embarrassing if Ensminger is the offensive coordinator. The most glaring problem is offense and we solve it with Ensminger? I promise you that every team on the schedule next year are laughing at that possibility.

I could go on. I can assure you, they ain't laughing. they are wishing and hoping that lsu doesn't kick their arse next time they play 'em. I don't know if you notice how happy fans of other schools are when they beat LSU. we are not an easy win.

Getting technical this morning huh bud. Someone has to make light of this pathetic situation. You guys got me, I didn't contact every institution. Just picture yourself as Saban and their Administration. How funny is it that you have embarrassed LSU for years because they can't score? And the answer is none other than Steve Ensminger.

The joke was referring to this offensive coordinator selection. I was partially satisfied last year, until Coach Coonass fricked everything up. I really wanted to see Cananda (respectable hire) grow and see what he could do. Nothing was embarrassing up until the O/Canada debacle, followed by the hiring of a failing solution to a major problem.

They don't consider our athletes a joke but I can guarantee you that they were quite a few private laughs when O was hired.

Grandad again offers balance and wisdom. I am as disappointed as anyone with our last second loss to ND, which would have changed the off-season perception. The way I look at it, Canada’s offense was a disaster from the BYU game and continued. We rallied, and O did a good job beating all the teams that Granddad mentioned. I am intrigued by Gilbert's Briles inspired offense, and would love for us to incorporate this vertical passing game. However, Ensminger is solid, and you are underestimating the value of a cohesive and united staff. We are going to have a strong team in 2018.
