He's not going anywhere with the last two weeks performances. Even if he wins, they're not worth the #14 spot.
Aren't they tied for 3rd in the west? Also if they do win out they will line up with a better team in a bowl and get destroyed.

I think there's a possibility that Mullen may end up somewhere other than Tennessee.... but it'd be at A&M, not Florida.

Yep, Mullen will be able to choose between UT, A&M, or staying put. I think he'll pick A&M. I feel bad for UT -- it's beautiful as hell up there, and not a bad place to coach, but for some reason, they just can't find a decent coach.

This comment is specific to Mullen and his wife , but it always irks me when I see the "wife doesn't like this place" during the coaching carousel talks. Most of these wives wouldn't have near the financial comfort and security without their husbands coaching football at a high level. They need to shut it and get back to the sammich making for the Wives of Boosters weekly luncheon.
