Biggest reach I've seen on this board. Absolutely a NO.

Watson Brown.
Too old.

Too old & LSU could & should do a lot better than hiring a coach currently at Tenn. Tech. Outside of Brown & Tepper (def. coach--I know a joke!), every name mentioned on this thread would be an upgrade over Crowton.

I wouldn't be completely opposed to a Watson Brown hire. He has the pedigree and, let's face it, the toughness for the SEC.

Darkhorse?
"Dan Mullen, along with LSU Offensive Coordinator Gary Crowton and University of Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly, are part of the so-called "New Hampshire mafia" as they all have strong connections to New Hampshire." - Wikipedia
Does this mean we should look at current UNH coaches???
Maybe Sean McDonnell?
LINK
His teams historically have some offensive firepower. Their WR passed Jerry Rices' TD mark.
Has a 5 game win streak against FBS teams.
Too much of a darkhorse? I guess so. But I'd like to see him get a shot at a "lesser" school. Good coach.
