The radio guys and all the call-ins I heard mentioned Tressel a little, basically tossing his name out there and saying "why not?" but no one felt like he was a realistic hire at this point. Golden was not seriously discussed either.
By far the best one I heard was when an obviously older fan called in and mentioned, with all earnestness, that Pitt should see about hiring Joe Paterno. There was like 10 seconds of just dead air followed by a stretched "okaay" and then a prompt changing of the subject.

As much as people have hammered Pitts AD, there are a couple schools with recent hires that couldn't put this good of a list together to look at. If they hire someone from this list, Pitt did a damn good job...for Pitt.
