i know there a lot of ways to judge an offense but if you were gonna use just one stat, this would be the best imo

the LSU defense is ranked 4th there as well, if that gives you any perspective

i dont know enough about Canada to say if he'd be good or bad but that ranking is encouraging.

S&P has LSU's offense in the top 25. Personally, I'll pass on using them to judge the OC hire.

it has us at 24, and only because our rush offense ranks 5th. id say thats pretty accurate. look at this top 20. if you dont think these are good offenses, youre a dolt.

The only thing that makes you a dolt in this conversation is actually believing LSU has a top 25 offense.

Enjoy your delusion though.

S&P+ weeds out garbage time yards when games are out of hand and measures an offenses ability to move the ball effectively down the field consistently.

He uses success rate and adjusted yards per play based on field position. It's pretty easily explained here

Don't forget LSU broke multiple offense school records over the last 7 games of the season.

42 on Penn State
36 on V Tech
43 on Clemson

i dont know anything about Syracuse this year but we scored 34 on them last year, less than half of the 76 Pitt did

But you are talking mid level defenses in the ACC. Bama offense would probable Ave 55+ points in that league, hell LSU second half of season offense would Ave 50+ in ACC
