Dunno if anybody mentioned this, but what about bringing him back as DC?
As I recall, he was pretty good when he was here. . .considering our level of talent.

he was a really good dc imo. he weht to kansas st i believe something bad happened to his wife or kid but i don't remember. i'd take him back

His wife was struck by lightning while jogging. Phil will be paid for another year by SMU, he looks to be sitting out of coaching. His youngest will be graduating from High School and he doesn't want to move. He's had offers from College and pro's. Great guy and coach. He told me that he still loves LSU. He was in town a few months ago.
