Georgia Tech always plays an attacking style defense and gets a lot of pressure on the QB. With Chan Gailey getting fired today, Tenuta might be a good fit for our new DC if Pelini leaves. Opinions?

Will he be willing to make a lateral move?

We were discussing this earlier. I'm not altogether sure GT won't promote him.

He just got fired, I don't think "Not" having a job to Having a job is considered a lateral move.

I hadn't heard that. That would be interesting.

Athletic director Dan Radakovich made the announcement after a morning meeting with Gailey. Defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta will take over as interim coach for an expected trip to the Emerald or Humanitarian Bowl, and he will be a candidate for the job permanently.

Yeah, he has no job.

Do research next time please.

LSU's DC is not a lateral move from GT, particularly if GT's new coach brings in a new defensive coordinator. As it stands now, Tenuta is the interim head coach and may get an interview (though I doubt he will be seriously considered).

Well, he's the interim coach. He says he wants the job and the AJC is reporting he'll be a candidate.
