in fact I can't think of a single superstar QB who ever became a coach after playing.

He was talking about how he wanted to win the national championship as a coach since he didn't do it as a player.

BS. In addition to never winning a MNC, Peyton never won the Heisman, never beat Florida, and there is no way he could ever make up for any of his college failures. With his NFL success and money, it would just be plain stupid for him to want to coach...anywhere. No reason to regress.
