Johnson's football equivalent would be winning 2 confrence titles, making a NY6 bowl and a natty in 5 years. Stoops' baseball equivalent would be making a regional twice once as a 2 and once as a 3 seed within a 5 year period but never advancing to the Supers.

Not saying that I want him ,Mark Stoops is a very good coach.I have followed college football for 55 yrs and the
job MS has done at Kentucky is incredible.Don`t believe me
go look at their history.If you can win consistenly at
Kentucky,Iowa St you are a damn good coach.
LSU fans are like every other fanbase out there and believe
we can get Vince Lombardi if he were available ,thats
unrealistic . Go check out the coaching searches the last
5 yrs.Every school ended up with its 2nd tear hire,go check it out. If LSU ends up with Stoops or Campbell it would being a great hire,mark my words.

he's done ok at UK and made them a middling program but that's about it. This was poised to be a bigger year for them and once again its kind of meh after stomping the frick out of us, but we suck and so does UF so that win has a lost a lot of shine
