Wow y’all are insecure even after finally winning a little this year. I have said numerous times that O has done a GREAT job this year . Just said that I don’t think he will be pursued for high profile jobs . No need to resort to name calling . Can’t have objective conversation
I mean some LSU fans have agreed with my statement

Please don’t say y’all, not all of us are are stupid and sensitive. Borrow was a graduate looking for a place to go. Coach O was connected enough to get it to happen. I personally questioned why recruit all the high star wide receivers. I now understand. LSU did catch “lightening in a bottle” this year, but Coach O was flying the kite.
I agree Coach O will probably not be attractive to others, nor attracted by others. LSU should reward the man and pay the assistants.

Well said
Again, Coach O is the head coach and deserves credit for putting a very good team together

O's new contract should abide by what he sold... low money deal to hire top flight coordinators and it shouldnt change now either because it proved it worked..
O is not going anywhere, for any job... hes home... period... no one is going to go after him... LSU gave him his shot, against many others say... and he did well with it.. dont make another mistake and lock him into a huge deal... LSU has every ounce of leverage there is on this and woodward would be a fool to give it up...
raise the pay to 5 million a year... that is the max, because you need the extra money for his staff and coords... hes at 4 million now... leave it alone...
give him years... because thats what he wants... helps him recurit... give him 4 years extension with half salary buyout... thats a 10 million dollar buyout... not bad for university and not bad for him... if im lsu i do %40... but thats just me... and id make it known that if he were to come back at me with some other school offering so that he could raise his salary id say walk then... cause there is no way on gods green earth he does... he learned from his mistakes to keep his ego in check... he has it all at LSU... home town, recruits, money.. facilities... he would be an idiot to leave... and i dont think hes an idiot...
would also keep the heavy incedntitives and bonuses... id prob add on to those and make those even higher and also give higher bonuses to assistants as well..
pay him 2 million for making the playoffs... 1 million for SEC title game.. hell you can add on tons of different bonuses to make up for lower pay... revenue genrated from great years pays for it...

I think O has done a great job and he's proving that he learned from his mistakes and it's paying off big. I love O and I thought he was a great hire from day 1. A great HC oversees the program by hiring great assistants and letting them know what he wants and allows them to do their jobs. Besides winning, O does a great job of catering to the big boosters and he does a phenomenal job promoting LSU everywhere he goes. It doesn't hurt that he's a coonass like a large portion of the LSU fan base. He needs to be compensated fairly for the incredible job he's done so far! Geaux Tigers! We Comin'!

I like his low salary with huge bonuses for production. Wish more contracts were designed this way

This. Make it so that every year he makes the playoffs he is getting paid up there with jimbo, saban, etc and winning it all he gets paid a little more.

O would stick around just for some cold beers and endless Cajun food, im sure y'all give him what he deserves along with plenty of Busch beer, ettoufet, souse, and crawdads

He is worth 5/25 with an SECC or 5/30 with a NC but his Assts make so much it would be tough to pay that much
