Head coach. Not coach. And it's not irrational.

According to this site, CEO had to take over as interim and win out in order to even be considered. That is irrational. Don't tell me it's because of Florida. The rant was off his bandwagon when he lost to arguably the best program and best coach of all time. Sorry he can't work miracles and turn our offense into the New England Patriots mid season.

If UNC were to play Florida or Alabama today, they would lose to say the least.

I'd like to go on record saying frick FEDORA. Would be an epic epic fail of a hire. Dude doesn't play defense for shite and his offense is always having to come from behind to win. This guy would flame out in three years ala Strong at UT. Maybe worse since we don't play in a dog shite conference.

On no planet is Orgeron a better or more successful head coach than Larry Fedora.

I don't want either, but its not even a comparison.

I don't even understand your comment. He was named Interim Head Coach. Interim. Interim.

CEO took over an Ole Miss program that was in bad shape...in the best division of the best conference in NCAAF. Would Fedora have done better? Maybe.

When comparing the rest of their resumes, Fedora's does not stack up. CEO has been a part of multiple National Championships and coached under Jimmie Johnson, Dennis Erickson and Pete Carrol. I want us to look elsewhere for the job but the irrational hating on CEO as a coach on this site is joke. The man has been great for the program since the day he got here.

Holy frick.

He was worse at Ole Miss than Cutcliffe and Houston Nutt. He was historically bad, even with alllll that experience.

There are quite literally at least 50 head coaches that would be better hires for LSU.

Before the season started, I said Les Miles should be fired unless he wins the west. This was the most experienced team in SEC and was picked by many national pundits to compete for the NC. So, if an interim coach is not able to get this team to perform to the level of the previous coach, HOW IS THAT AN IMPROVEMENT?

If Ed Orgeron was born and raised in Boston, most of you, who currently want him hired would be the same ones claiming he isn't qualified to coach LSU. Birth certificate DOES NOT MATTER!

He isn't qualified to be considered for the position in the first place.

most good coaches are a-holes

Well the team did improve so there's that.

I literally said in this thread I want LSU to look elsewhere for a new coach. I'm defending CEO because people are attacking him as a coach, even calling him an "unintelligent coonass" and getting upvotes.

...at UNC. You kids are hilarious.

If O beats Bama and Flordia, you guys are bat shite crazy over him. You can't think he is Jesus one second then the next think he is beneath a shite show like Fedora, who is a proven couch.... at UNC.

Wlecome to LSU fandom, where we are as consistent as a pile of horse shite.

O didn't lose the Bama / UF games. The O-Line lost the bama game. You can't paint stripes on a horse and call it a Zebra. LSU's current team was built on Les Mile's stubborn old school scheme of smash mouth football. You cannot all of a sudden in one week, go 5 wide and be Texas Tech.

O didn't play call. He doesn't play call. Ensminger does. Him and Guice, YES GUICE, cost us the game. Guice fricked up the play, period.

We need to keep O, who is one of the nations best recruiters, and bring in a legit offensive coordinator, just like we did with Aranda. If TT fires Kingsbury, bring him in as OC. Bring in anyone with that mentality.

If we get rid of O, we lose an amazing recruiter. I don't think its worth it to go from Top 5 recruiting classes to being out of the top 10.

I could care less how he speaks. You have to weigh the good and the bad. I want whats best for LSU. I don't think bringing in someone who doesn't have the pulse on the program would be the best choice. Let the coordinators run the game, let the coach motivate and get his players ready for battle. You think Aranda went to Miles or O with playcalls? Offensive Coordinators don't either.

Id take a coordinator that is bad arse and O's recruiting over some shite show like Fedora who cant recruit.
