I live in Ga, so I’m not in the “vicinity” of the Tulane program. Tell me about John Sumrall. Not pining for him, just wanna hear the board’s take. I’ve only got the bio to go on. (My Auburn alum buddy says they are smitten by that guy.) I ask because our “big fish” usually break our line or throw the hook.

He is not ready for a Power job. As I have stated before he would benefit by staying at Tulane for another year or two and hiring someone like Jerry Kill to help mold him into a great coach.
Right now his teams seems to play down to competition. Other than maybe the Northwestern game Tulane hasn't played a full 60 minutes.
