You guys are beyond gullible it's not even funny.

Yeah, this was all just a big misunderstanding. It just did not occur to Saban to tell his agent to stop and then call a press conference so he could dispel the rumors once and for all out of respect for the Bama administration, fans and his "good friend" Mack Brown. An action that would also have eased the minds of potential recruits.

He could have even ended it with "Have a nice day!"

Texas rumors were used for a pay raise. Every major sports coach and their agent does that. There was never an actual chance of Saban going to Texas.

That is the actual truth, whether you want to accept it or not.

How many times does he have to say it?

I would have ignored the whole thing too.

This is stupid. High placed people from Texas were leaking information all over. Why call out Chicken, TheDoc, and others when they were reporting what they were told.

What Chicken posted was perfectly reasonable, so I don't see why anyone would call him out.

TheDoc on the other hand was posting one of the most absurd rumors I've ever seen and then vigorously defending it. Texas oil barons buying out $25 million of Saban's debt and then basically using it to blackmail him into indentured servitude as UT's coach? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. On top of everything else that pathetic bastard has done on here he deserves some shaming
