Morris Watts stayed to get his pension from Michigan. Morris Watts is the one who convinced Saban that LSU was a sleeping giant. Bobby joined Saban at Bama for a time. They're always trying to smear someone.
Kiffin isn't giving ultimatums. There are wives, families, kids involved. This is the tough part of coaching, you have to be human about changes like this.
Don't believe anything you read about who is or isn't coming until LK announces it. I mean you can do what you want, but kicking a cat is more fun.

Gary Gibbs. I recall thinking he would be Saban’s replacement when Saban eventually went pro.
Phil Emassion ended up as the DC in 2000 before Gibbs in 2001.

Happy for OM fans for keeping any of the staff together but I seriously don’t care who comes from that staff.
