For some reason, after looking up that info and thinking about it, makes me like this hire a little more now. We would have been happy with Hud but for some reason we hate the idea of Freeze. Why is that?

I feel like if he has success here that he won't leave either because he is from North Mississippi, loves Ole Miss/Oxford and so does his family. He's in for the long haul if there is success.

Hud's QB was banged up and threw a few picks and the shite backup threw one or two. Also, Hud put up 34 on the #3 team in the country. More than most big 12 teams.

Freeze and ASU didn't exactly get blown out by Illinois and VT. They only lost 26-7 I believe and VT only managed to score 3 points in the entire second half.

Still. I'm not saying what Hud did wasn't impressive, I'm just saying that Freeze and his staff did a pretty damn good job against a Big 10 and top 15 ACC opponent.

One thing I know is Freeze has done at Ark State what nobody else has been able to do over 30 yrs. The fan base is pathetic with little support for athletics. If he can win here he can win anywhere. I'm not a prophet but I look for OM to be much improved.
