So Saban slaps every coach in the face when he has 20 coaches and consultants on staff ?

If Raymond is that insecure and self centered he can go ahead and go as far as I'm concerned.

Our secondary was fantastic this year and Busch was instrumental in landing Burrow and Ika.

Highly doubt a big OSU backer would allow his plane to be used for Bill Busch...there is interest in CR, don't see him leaving unless he doesn't get a raise

Take the purple and gold glasses off. Busch is every bit the coach Raymond is. I don't want to lose either of them, but don't act like Busch is some division 2 coach who stumbled into a job here.

Be prepared to be burned alive on here.

This is what I hope happens. He just got "Best DB Recruiter" award. Pay the man!

No glasses here. Call it as I see it and how it will play out if he stays or leaves. Been around CR and the program long enough to know. Nothing more or less than that and didn’t downplay Busch in any way.

What did you mean when you said a big Ohio State backer wouldn't allow his plane to be used to pursue Busch but he would allow it for Raymond?

It is weird to think that, when you compare the 2 coaches, OSU would go after Busch instead of Raymond.

Did it ever occur to you maybe Raymond is telling other schools no thanks unless you can give me a big DC/HC promotion? Why is it that you never see hard runs for him from other schools? Because he's dedicated to LSU. His career has been built around LSU since he was in college which is all the more reason he should be getting raises since he hasn't been using leverage from other schools.

You can't tell me a coach as good as him in recruiting/coaching is not seeing high interest around the country yet you never hear anything. It's likely most teams know it's a waste of time.

A lateral move to S coach for OSU is not happening. It doesnt' even make sense unless they give him a DC in waiting title, DC job, or something along those lines. None of that is happening because OSU is too big of a program to be taking risks on a guy who has no DC history. Money shouldn't even be talked about as OSU outbidding LSU and if that's the reason well we have bigger problems than Raymond ever leaving.

I think Orgeron would seriously consider promoting Raymond to DC if Aranda ever left and maybe that's what he's waiting around for. O loves giving his buddies big promotions here.

LSU should never have hired Busch. Should've paid Raymond more money. He deserves it

So you're saying that Corey felt threatened by Busch. I agree that Corey deserves a raise but to be insecure about his job doesn't sound right. I hate to see him go but he has to be more secure in his job than that.

Not really when you consider that he worked there before and knows the area for recruiting well.

People in football circles wouldn’t think it odd at all. Busch is an outstanding coach and recruiter too

The fact that Aranda hand picked Busch should tell you all you need to know about his coaching ability.
