He got the number of years he needed while at Auburn so he is set, plus it will be based of the $2.5 million he made there. So he has a really good deal going.

He has 10 years of service which means he is fully vested. H he worked at the University of Alabama from 2007 to 2014. That is 7 years. He was at LSU in 2015 then at Auburn 2016 to 2020, another 5 years, so my understanding the Alabama Pension system requires 10 full years of service to fully vest. He has that plus some additional service.

Yes, that is true about Samford, and my voice to text did not pick up my intonation correctly. however, my point is that he can literally take any job that allows him to be in the Alabama State retirement system
