He was an effective play caller and QB coach at Illinois State before coming to TCU and was brought in to "re-energize" their offense.

They are probably right. LSU > TCU, especially if you are looking to make a name for yourself and put yourself in a position to find a HC gig in a few years. That's about his only negative IMHO. We win a NC and he'll be gone.
