Has there been any info on the time-table for a new DC hire? Is there a search under way? Could we hire a new coordinator before the MNC, even though Pelini is still there?

Just curious.

No timeline I know of but they need to hurry up and get someone as this will help do away with the talk of Miles to Michigan.

I am less concerned with who it may be, but more so with the kind of scheme he favors. In my opinion LSU needs a DC who likes a agressive attacking style of defense.

I think Ed Orgeron would be great. He sucked as a head coach, but he was a good d-coord. and he can recruit really well

I think Bay Bay and Pete Carroll shared that dutie at SC. I wouldn't have a problem with him coachng LSU's D. But I was always under the assumption that he hated LSU with a passion. What about Carl Reise? Isn't he looking for a job these days?

Actually, he did hold the title of DC at Ole Miss his first 2 seasons as well as being the head coach.
