You think it is possible for any Coach to multiple 8 or 9 win seasons at ULL? I think you are wrong and history seems to confirm this.

They haven't had a decent coach in that span either. Nelson Stokley was a good guy, but not really a coach, Jerry Baldwin lol, Bustle had a couple of 6 win seasons despite being Milesesque in his gametime decisions. Of course they would also need to schedule fewer BCS teams for this to happen.

read my earlier post... I dont have a problem with Ulala as long as they acknowledge who they are and not pretend otherwise.

I get being the Message board defender,it's cute.
I can see how you relate to Ulala fans-being a second tier school in your own state, feel like big bad LSU is picking on the little guy. Calling today a moment for Ole Miss fans certainly is an antagonistic remark to Reb whether your starkville arse admits it are not.Ole Miss will be back and you'll be back to shitville the moment Mullen wises up and moves on.I guarantee within four years, Mullen will be wishing he'd have upgraded when he had the chance. The ceiling at State is 8 wins, kinda of like Ulala.

this is incredibly awesome

an LSU fan vicariously living through a school that hasn't been to Atlanta, went 4-8 this year, 1-7 in the SEC. is 0-2 vs. their current in state rival's coach, and is losing the state's top prospect to MSU less than 20 miles from campus. you sir, have made me irl lol.

Who's living vicariously through Ole Miss? Only merely pointing out that State is still State and Ole Miss will always be the top dog in Mississippi. The Bulldogs will be back on probation before they win the SEC.IDGAF if Ole Miss wins or not,but they are the best football program in the state of Mississippi, that's a fact.

You mean the program that has had a losing record to State over the past twenty years or so, hasn't been to Atlanta, and is being passed up again for the 2nd time in two decades by an MSU coach? yeah, that's dominance right there. Ole Miss also hasn't been to any bowl more prestigious than State-both have been to the Cotton Bowl. State has been to Atlanta. Ole Miss has won in Starkvile only twice in the past twenty years, the Egg Bowl in 2011 will be played at Starkville. That will mark a 3 game winning streak for MSU. Ole Miss dominance I tell you.

''Ole Miss wins are not''

lofty wording there, truly lofty.

THey lost to Jacksonville State and Vandy. Since 1970 there is not much difference between the two programs.

So you think they are different from OM in this regard?

Actually I was referring to the team with an actual all time winning percentage. You got to Atlanta under Jackie, the coach who put you on probation. When you went to Atlanta you blew a fourth quarter lead. You only have ONE conference title in your history and that was SEVENTY years ago.A stadium that doesn't even crack 60,000. A program that contributes nothing to the SEC.A town that no one wants to go to.Literally nothing. At least Vandy gives us good academics and Kentucky gives us basketball. Dan Mullen making a wrong decision is the highlight of your football program in the last 12 years. How sad is that?

get to .500 all time before you start talking like your program matters bitch
eta: your program savior will be gone in four years.book it.

Pretty sure all time winning %s don't have much to do with the current state of affairs in Mississippi. Vaught's wins aren't going to help Nutt escape Mullen.

Seriously, also the last time OM challenged for an SEC title they were about to get slapped with violations for Brewer's recruiting.

8-4...yeah Mullen has turned the program into a powerhouse! When State gets put on probation after these "glory years" you think they are having, they'll be back to sub .500 ball.If State was anything more than a second tier program, it wouldn't take an 8-4 season and 2 egg bowl wins to cause so much giddiness.

8-4 is a game better of where Petrino was with Arkansas just a year ago. They're not doing too badly right now, either. Also, not sure why you are attacking MSU so much, shite even the OM fans in the thread you referenced didn't argue. Why do you think that is?

Way to set the bar high and compare your program to Arkansas

Dan Mullen is no Petrino either. What OM fans did I refer to? If Ole Miss fans are quiet it's because they had a bad year. Now why is that you think State matters again? What is your connection to them? Isn't this day the best day your program has had in ten years?Isn't that pathetic?
