I don't see Aranda following Herman to Texas if he goes there. Why would Aranda want to go coach defense in the Big 12? He would give up way more points and play all spread offenses. He also would have less talent.
I don't think he would want to start over when he could stay at LSU one more year and then go to a decent Power 5 job as a head coach.
