With as smart and talented as youngsters enter college today, The head coaching roll maybe on its way out of football anyway.
Plus, our program is living proof that just about any moronic caricature of a coach can win Nattys.
I am about at the point of this godforsaken coaching search, we just Elect a captain for each phase of the game and let them collectively serve as head coach.

O proved that head coach is not overrated. Maybe it was in 2019 but it definitely wasn’t that the last 2 years where a good head coach doesn’t implode the program after going 15-0. Maybe you don’t need a great coach to win a natty at LSU, but you need one to prevent it from being a dumpster fire.
