I don't know, just a thought, but I just don't see Miles staying too much longer with the pressure he is under and his inability to fire coaches causing him more grief.

I used to think this, but now I think Miles doesn't really give a shite about what the fanbase thinks, which is probably more of a good thing actually. See: not changing the 2 quarterback system even though every single fan wanted it gone. He doesn't listen to fans and probably is immune to their rantardness at this point.

Bob Bradley of course.

If he does leave, the cupboard is FULL!!! Many coaches know this and would want a chance at it. It would be late, but right now, there really aren't any prestigous jobs open. Michigan would be the only one of the year and if we are looking, then Miles would be there.

There would be no Florida or other big program that just filled a position like last time or even the last few years.

I don't think this is as dumb of a thread as y'all are saying.

Miles has been acting a little odd lately, imo. I don't see Harbaugh taking the Michigan job, and I doubt he turns it down a second time. Maybe he won't be gone before the bowl game; but, Michigan is waiting until after Jan. 1 to fire RR anyway, a week in between RR's firing and our bowl game would give Michigan just enough time to put on a "coaching search" that would end in Miles after the bowl game... I don't know, just a thought, but I just don't see Miles staying too much longer with the pressure he is under and his inability to fire coaches causing him more grief.

First...really? CLM's been acting odd? How so?

Second, who says CLM turned down a job offer from Michigan before? What makes you think Harbie wouldn't take it? Do you think Harbie'll be coaching in the NFL next year?

Third, is the pressure on CLM worse now than it was at the end of last season? Or after the Katrina-season Tennessee game? Or at any point in his career here? What about CLM makes you think he'd cave into pressure? I know we're a demanding (and often stupid) fanbase, but what, exactly, about CLM makes you think he gives a rats arse about criticism from a very reactionary Tiger Nation fanbase?
