Carter wouldn't be terrible, he has some experience with saints for ar.position. works as scouting, don't.know if he has.many.connections out there but frank Wilson could show.him a few tricks, I'm sure

Let stud do what he does coach Oline
Krags coach QBs
Bring in Monken to be the OC and coach WR

If stud doesnt want to go back to the job he was hired to do then let him go and hire another OLine coach. Many better ones out there.

Monken is not coming to LSU. It's a lateral move and he's not gonna come here and give Les the chance to frickup his reputation. He'll likely be a HC soon enough anyway.

Yes it's a lateral move OC to OC but I don't believe its completely a equal lateral move.

If Wilkerson was added to the staff then I think the staff would be complete and we can't hire someone under the NCAA limits on the number of coaches. This would most likely point to Enminger coaching TE's and WR's or Wilson RB's and WR's. Stud will most likely coach a position so he may take TE's and Enminger may take WR's which wouldn't be bad.

Not saying you are endorsing this, but Ensminger is a garbage coach and a liability on the recruiting trail. I love Wilkerson, but LSU is not the place for OTJ training ... a top 5 program deserves an elite and proven OL coach.

Probably true. It would also clarify the recent turmoil related to WR retention.

We lost 1 receiver to the draft this year. Ensminger will not be coaching WRs

SMU's WR Coach: Jeff Reinebold - he knows LA and TX recruiting pipeline. SMU has been top 25 in pass yards/game the last 3 or 4 years since he's been there.

Why do you think he's a bad choice? We're talking about WR coach... he's shown some success at SMU.
No way are we pulling monken or Dunn.

What other experienced names are our there that would make a lateral move?

Plenty.

WR coach should be where one of your best recruiters on the staff is also. This is a position where many elite recruiters make their name. Not to mention it is a important position in progression to OC.

We do not need a Ensminger coaching WRs. We need a homerun hire here because LSU really needs another great recruiter on the staff.

The WR's drop a LOT of balls

Whoever it is, I hope they work on that.

Some of that is just ability, not teaching.
