Les Miles won 75% of his games and a natty but cute take

You can't get the fact that I'm saying Saban was the last intelligent hire?
That’s fair. I replaced “hired” with “had.”

Saban was the coach from 2000-2004

Does this mean Napier is officially off the table?

I'll still take him over O any day. At least Les didn't make LSU softer than Charmin.

Les was The man, hard headed, yes but he did a great job ! O did good too but...
Saban built the house ! ??

Uhh…. Yeah. Miles was a buffoon- most cannot argue otherwise, especially in light of evidence of things that happened off the field.

Jesus, I know the title of this thread isn't that difficult to comprehend.

For the love of god please be competent

Fans like this are LSU's largest weakness. Nothing else is close.

And was a complete and utter braindead buffoon. Arguably should've won the NC in 2006 (3 points against Auburn with that offense...really???) and in 2011. Had the EXACT same record in '05 and '06 that he had in '07, but still backed into the NC game. LSU was ranked 7th goin into the SECCG after blowing the season finale to unranked Arkansas, and by a small miracle wound up ranked 2nd the following week. Arguably, Saban (for instance) could've possibly had 3 NC's between '05-'07 and Miles lucked into 1. Dude was an immeasurable IDIOT.

Would Mark Stoops qualify?

And in 2012.
Conservative BS calls in Bama territory could have put the game away but we settled for a FG and lost on a last second TD.
We would have trashed Notre Dame.

Imagine if ole Les would have been a little more adaptable to the game of college football.

Ed Orgeron won 100% of his games and won a natty in 2019. I can cherry pick too. Kansas proved what Miles is worth as a coach and what LSU is worth as a program
If LSU lifted Les to 10 wins a year and this will be the 2nd year in a row under O without a winning record, how bad is he

Idiot
The man graduated from a well respected school in economics, interviewed good enough to be hired by 3 power 5 schools, won more games in a 10 yr period than any other SEC school, played for 2 NCS, and is a millionaire many times over.
