new DC possibly coaching in a bowl game?

I've heard this argument that the new DC will likely be focused on his own bowl game, that announcements will not be made until after the game. So which of our top-rumored choices are coaching in bowl games?
Tenuta? Who else? I didn't think any of the others had bowl games to worry about (Chavis, VK [taken], Coach O, Dewayne Walker, Roads). Seems like Les had plenty of people to choose from who could have started right away. Maybe no one could secure a deal.
Maybe he was just waiting for Malleveto to get hired. That still seems risky to me. Oh well, I guess it's pointless now.

I think Miles is going to wait until after NSD and then announce his DC so it doesn't affect recruiting...
Bad move, IMO. We need to install the scheme as fast as possible and prevent a meltdown in the bowl game. This bowl game will go a long way into saying what is going to happen next season, IMO. Will they go into next year with their heads high or a whipped Tiger?

No, the bowl game is still part of this season, a new coach will not have time to get his scheme working and it would only do harm. A new DC comes in, the D sucks it up because of a new scheme they have not learned yet and the fan base will go crazy. Going into next season everyone will doubt the new DC because of the bowl game. Take our lumps this year and start fresh in 09.
