They went so far as to say what he did given ND's limitations is equal to what Saban can do at Bama.

They were effusive in their praise of Kelly and think he'll win huge at LSU.

Adam Schein also said it was a slam dunk hire and again said he did the best anyone could do at ND, which will never win a title again due to the academic requirements, etc.

LSU fans should be ecstatic about the Kelly hire, but this take is awful.

Notre Dame has limitations. They are also clearly a better program than every ACC team they play annually. USC is the only comparable program they play, and USC has been on a historically bad run.

What Kelly did at ND is maybe comparable to Urban or Dabo.
