Looks like Tom Osborne had 2 candidates in mind the entire time. Gill or Pelini. In a year of unpredictability, Nebraska hiring Pelini was very predictable. Nebraska has a horrible defense and Pelini is a seasoned D coordinator and so they went with that. Anyone surprised they hired Bo with how prestigious of a school Nebraska has been in the past.
