My thoughts on what Les will do

#1- If we lose the SECCG, Les is gone, gone.
If we win the SECCG and Les has a visit with Michigan he will be very disappointed. They will not offer him more than 1.8 mil. They will give him a small asst coach budget which will disturb him. He will be forced to deal with his buy out on his own.
Before he heads to Michigan, Skip pops him with a guaranteed contract of 2.5 million with incentives up to 4 million.
I know Les loves Michigan.. blah, blah, blah. But as a father and a provider in a profession where there are no guarantees, this will be tight.
I have no idea what he will do but I am sure it is not a done deal. I am actually leaning towards Les staying which suits me ok. We will be fine either way.
How many out there would move your family for 1/3 less money? I know it is in the millions which makes it seem irrevelant. But wives spend what ever you make, so it is relevant.
There is no way Bama gets NTP with 2 million per year. Heart and love are great but cold cash usually gets it done.
If the money is even close Les bolts. I just think Michigan is going to use his love for the program as leverage to get him as cheap as they can.

I'm starting to doubt this. The media is making Miles out to be a complete imbecile on the sidelines (which he may in fact be) and I think his recruiting will suffer because of it. Fair or not I think that his media image will start to hurt us and erode recruiting over time.

Bobby Bowden has gotten away with it for years. Good recruiter and players coach but low IQ with a big whistle.

Look, from what I see and read and hear, Les better haul arse. The majority of people have seen through his lack of in-game coaching and are ready to say buh bye. Run Les Run!

Spoke directly to guy whose picture you will find on the Board of Supervisors site today. Les is definitely gone!
Why even rehash that.
Furthermore, if the fans could vote they would overwhelmingly want him gone.
